Funny you say that, I would probably recommend TWOAF to discover Gojira rather than FMTS, The Way... being in my absolute Gojira fan opinion a much more easy to listen album if it makes any sense (from a sonic and songwriting style, don't get me wrong I am a sucker for everything this band did :D )

My brother owns a CV and plays quite a lot of metal with it, it sounds different from other metal-oriented axes but still great ! Really agressive, tight, you just need to push the gain a bit more than with humbuckers, but to me Telecaster CAN play teh br00tz ! :kickass:

Mon frère s'est acheté des Urbanears Plattan, je les trouve très sympa pour de l'écoute "standard", ils sonnent très hi-fi, très gonflés mais pas désagréables pour autant, et je crois qu'ils ne sont pas très cher et ont un chouette look pour ne rien gâcher... :)

LeCto is great. Also try X50 from Onquel, some get great sound out of it. For LeGion, I use it with a cab sim and nothing else and it sounds great this way :)

You're pretty much there, but you need to put the 808 BEFORE the amp sim such as you would do with a real tubescreamer boosting the amp.
