I knew it was a concept album, i don't have the album though, so i've never seen the booklet >< That's why i was confused about those parts of the story.

Hah damn it must be just me, but the silences and changes in the earlier stuff just adds to the mood for me. And the songs seem to flow together nicely. There is somewhat of a mood change at the change bit, but it still fits with the rest of the song. Doesn't feel random AT ALL. And i think...

Those 2 albums are pretty much all i listen to lately...wierd, huh. I don't mean the only Opeth stuff i listen to, i mean the only music. But i must say old Opeth stuff is quite amazing. I've always liked it, but now i'm listening to it all the time and every time i hear it i like it more...

Mike said somewhere they use a VH100R...i don't think a VH100L even exists at all. There's GH100L and VH100R, and i'm thinking they used the 2nd one. With boss gt6. By the way i just stopped by GC and sam ash...they didn't have any laneys or 5150 obviously...but i did try a peavey xxx half...

How's the cleans on the 5150? I've been considering that as well, but i keep hearing how it has shitty cleans.

Opeth used the distortion from gt6 though(or so i thought). And before they used the boss heavy metal...i guess that was when they still used a marshall. Did Opeth ever actually use amp distortion?
