I wasn't fond of their development into a semi-death metal band on their past couple of records, but I find myself really liking this album. Very dark and majestic. They sure have come a long way since I saw them live on the Christ Agony/Helheim tour nearly two decades ago. :-)

Added English and Dutch subs for those of you who don't speak Swedish: You probably need to turn them on yourself though, automatically turning them on always seem to result in having the Dutch subs as a standard.

It depends, I found the title somewhat misleading. It's mainly interviews with the various band members. You won't get any gear info, songwriting tricks or recording and mixing tips from it.

Sounds stellar.

Cubase it is, although I also tend to use drum libraries with MIDI that was recorded by an actual drummer. It's very hard to get the dynamics of the hi-hat and ride right with DIY-programming.
