I love Sabaton and I thought they were insanely popular...but every metal board I go onto, no one EVER mentions them. I'm even on their official forum and there's maybe 1 post every couple of days.

I like good lyrics about things I'm interested in. Most of the time, these subjects are only covered in 'metal' music which is nice because they are bolstered by that powerful sound. I know what I like, keeps those thousands of metal bands out there easy to manage.

I'd say hard rock....they tow that fine line with bands like AC/DC, Alice in Chains, etc.
