If 2 guitar players both did 2 tracks how would one go about panning them? Also, if you do something like this: Guitar 1A: Left 80% Guitar 1B: Right 80% does that just center them, and defeat the purpose?

I meant as far as panning goes. The band doesn't really have a defined rhythm and lead player. They play both. Would you still just pan each player on their own side. And when using dual mics is this the correct way to pan them? guitar1mic1 - L80% guitar1mic2 - L80% guitar2mic1 -...
