Okay I get it. I'll think about getting the ALX set then since it comes with quick connectors, jack etc... Don't really like soldering and my soldering equipment is trash :D How does the ALX set compare to the older jackson/ HZ pickups he used to have?

Thanks for the reply! The ABQ alone doesn't seem to come with the jack so maybe for me the best would be to get the Emg ALX set with the pickup and all. If it really is that I can't use the existing jack that comes with the guitar... Why is it that the abq/ j50bc needs a new jack?
