I often find it hard to remember stuff I did 5 minutes ago. :grin: Forgetting songs is pretty easy to do. They float from your brain. I guess it would be possible to remember them after alot of figuring out and fucking around. But that's effort. :p

A band I know for sure that have classed themselves "Dark Metal", is "Throes of Dawn". I have the album "Binding of the Spirit" which is very dark sounding. Triste's post sounds pretty correct to me as Throes of Dawn are kind of a black/doom mix with some very beautiful acoustic/softer sections.

In fact u are all wrong about double kick speed. It is a drummer who isn't in a well known band. His name eludes me at the moment but I've heard his double kick b4 and it sounds pretty shit if u ask me. It's useless to play at such speed that the drumming turns into a droning noise rather than...

Opeth drums aren't extremely complicated, however it would take a very long time to tab out a song. I too think the easiest way is by ear.

I think Black Rose Immortal has to win on principal. I think it's more of a "classic" than The Moor, more epic too. Still, I hate to vote against a song that's of the high quality of The Moor. BRI gets my vote.

I've already tabbed the drums for Requiem, Silhouette, Prologue, Madrigal and Patterns In Ivy. hehehe ... e-mail me if you want them. Being serious though, I would tab some Opeth songs if I had more time and patience. Maybe sometime in the future Sputnik.

I very much agree with Satori. I think the majority of ppl who think they are strongly opposed to drugs are extremely hypocritical. All that has to be done is to look at which drugs cause the most deaths around the world ... Alcohol and Nicotine. Basically end of story there, however, I think...
