Hope you don't mind I revive this thread, but I'm looking for some good noise rock. For example I want to find something jazz/groove oriented like Brainbombs, do you know them? Something similar would be good, minus the lyrics about rape and murder... Here's a song to examplify...

If you haven't heard them yet, then you might like the two Justin Broadrick projects "Ice" and "God". Mix of industrial, experimental, dub, jazz etc.

Catcher in the Rye. Waiting for me on my shelf is two books by Joe Abercrombie, that is some good and funny fantasy stuff. Also I am trying to finish the first the Dark Tower book, but I must admit it bores me some.
