On version 1 there was this weird scratchiness,sort of like fizz mixed with static,that couldn't be EQd out no matter what.It seem to be baked in to the core sound of the whole base engine.That's gone in 2,it's opened up and smoother/cleaner sounding in that frequency range.

That TC noise gate is digital.I'm also pretty sure those Power Supplies aren't truly isolated.You can probably run all low draw analog pedals off of it,and use a separate supply for the higher draw digital pedal.

To be honest the Helix's greatest value to me would be as a midi foot controller,considering a Liquid Foot+ 12+ is almost a grand and the RJM Mastermind 10 is $1300 and the 16 the same price as the Helix.
