I want to use this method too, but i only have a line 6 gx interface with an instrument input at the moment. If i'd use a cable like this to connect the palmer to the interface the signal would bee to low, right? Is there any particular reason why you bought the PDI 01 instead of the PAN 01...

But that way there's no poweramp saturation right?

thought the same. but he mentioned that the 5150 needs new tubes, so this might not be the fairest comparison ;)

a friend of mine has the same problem with his scarlet. just get a different interface, you won't be happy with this one...

I wanted to do the same thing once, but I've been searching for the logic click and couldn't find it on the interwebz... But I found the cubase click somewhere. Unfortunately I can't remember where that was... Anyway, if someone has logic click samples -> pliiz share (:

Aw, there's a problem with macs. Many of the sims aren't available for mac. But yes, you just load the plugins into your daw. Here's a tutorial series on how to use ampsims (I haven't watched them but I'm sure they're good cause the guy who posted them is pure awesomeness :D )...
