The CD I recommend is by a band called Green Carnation, and it's called Acoustic Verses. I had never heard about such a band, and when I made a quick research about it, I found out the band's over...:( I managed to download a song somewhere on the web, but the song's awful!! LOLL Nothing like...

I saw this band live last December, their performance was quite good, but the sound of the venue was awful, so it really harmed my impression on their songs...when I buy their CD I'll be able to evaluate them for real.

Yeah, Stryper is DEFINITELY the band in this segment of metal. But then again, I don't know a lot of the bands mentioned here, will check them out as soon as possible... The Brazilian metal scene has a few bands, but the only ok christian metal band I know is Eterna.

I don't really know these bands you mentioned, but if I were to put any band in that category, Pain of Salvation would definitely be there!:P
