So, I decided to go Patreon with my mixing services

Hi folks, I've been away from mixing music for some time, doing some soul searching and other hippiesque stuff and decided now to get back to it. And as far as finances and business is considered, I've decided to go with the route of Patreon. So there are no payments, fees, invoices, hourly...

Avoiding Phase Issues when Layering Guitars (2 Amps or more One Take)

If the different profiles use different mic positions from each other, and you use the same take, how could they line up perfectly in phase, even if you aligned the tracks to a grid?

    When to use "character" EQs

I've always wondered what is the logic behind this type of thinking. If a certain piece of eq yields pleasing results, be it from unique curves, phase distortions, saturations or whatever, why would you dedicate those results solely for boosting? I do understand the broad boost / surgical cut...

    Slow Attack and Makeup Gain

Not a stupid question by any means per se, but I'm having a little trouble wrapping my head around what the actual question / problem is? For me the whole premise of using slower attack on a compressor is that when you bring up the make up gain to a equal level, the transients are magnified? Of...

    The REAPER appreciation thread!

I made a quick tutorial of some SWS Actions in Reaper that I've been having fun lately. This is a quick and easy way to make custom 'channel strips' from plugins and recall them instantly to your screen. Hope it proves useful to some other Reaper users also...

Thanks.. Though, after a week or so, I'll propably be crying after you guys..

FS: Slate VCC, VTM, VBC + Airwindows + Valhalla DSP

Nah, it means that I'd let them go 180€ the whole package. After license transfer fees, I'm left with 30€ per plugin, if I'm selling them separate. I'd rather just not use them myself than go that route.
