Dude! #1 was the problem. I'm new to Reaper and didn't there were options to set the track format. I had it set to force stereo. I changed it to force mono and did a little sound test. Everything sounds great now! Thanks so much for your help.

I found some cymbal swell samples online. Thanks for the suggestions. I did not know it was called a swell. That would have made looking for samples easier.

Dude I liked it! Totally crazy sounding. I like the parts that sound like the CD is glitching and skipping. How do you do that effect? Is that an effect or an editing technique?

I marked the soundcloud file with the BPM locations of what they were and what they change to. Will this help? BPM Locations In reaper I just added a tempo marker and changed the BPM up and down as needed.

I think it sounds pretty awesome. I'm a n00b though and do not mix and master a lot, but I like the music.
