The jamming at the end of Night and Silent Water was pretty incredible, had a brilliant buildup to it too. Epic solo at the end of HL. The dumb thing about the nokia bit is that it would only have turned people away from getting that phone by annoying them at best.

This is amazing news. Tickets can be got only from within the college? Gotta make some friends in IITM fast :D There has never really been an international band I've looked forward to going and seeing around here but this is an incredible exception. I wonder how the Saarang people actually...

I checked out the songs and surprisingly enough it isn't all that bad. Also, Whoracle was pretty damn good, I prefer it over TJR actually.

Tried it... the female vocals are pretty awful but it is a decent enough album. I doubt if it beats the rest of your choices though. The jazzy interludes would obviously be liked by the opeth fans.
