I actually heard one song onon a classic radio station while camping, so I have my hopes up it will be a good listen. Been a long time since I've picked up a Heart album.

Martin doesn't get enough credit, especially when you consider he was the second longest front man for Sabbath. The first three albums are great, with Idol being a classic in its own right. Forbidden however stunk – it sounds phoned in to me.

I love Death Angel. I haven’t heard it yet but I will definitely get it the day it comes out. Looking forward to see what Accept does as well.

Wolf, Enforcer, and White Wizzard are all great bands but I haven't heard the other two. Over The top along with the new Overkill hs spent a lot of time in the car this summer. I'll also second Grand Magus, Slough Feg, and The Gates Of Slumber. I killed Iron Will in '08.

It’s a good album. It has some average tracks but a solid listen to pull out once in a while. “Thin Line”, “Wicker Man”, and “Ghost of Navigators” are all great songs. The thing that stands out the most is that BNW (and actually all of the post reunion albums) sound even better live. I saw...

The first four Candlemass albums, along with Trouble, are standard issue doom albums in my player. The self-titled reunion album kicks all kinds of ass as well :kickass:

I understand the well thought out arguments people have made in favor of this and respect them. But as a fan of the metal gods I have no recourse but to kick reasoning to the curb and... Rob opening for Korn?

I’d have to agree. The problem new thrash bands face is that they are remembering a music movement instead of being on the cutting edge of one. That gives the originals more punch because they were blazing new ground when they did it. Like most revivals or fads modern thrash will be limited...
