    What's Shakin' your tin?

Yeah, there is definitely some awesome hints of their Projector to Damage Done stuff on Construct... really enjoying it. Have also been listening to Cog The New Normal a fair bit, though I guess that album is old news.

Vessel - my solo project featuring Blaze Bayley

I have given this a few spins over the last few days and have thoroughly enjoyed. Finding as time goes on the songs are coming across more songlike and less the audio of a project, if that makes sense. It's a good thing!

Good albums for 2012 so far?

Interesting, was on my to get list but not a high priority... might have to bump it up a little. They are touring towards the end of the year, yeah?

What gigs have you seen lately?

It's possibly the same with Metallica, I dunno, but what's interesting with Maiden is how much of their history and image is based around stadium sized shows. No doubt they could play a stripped back show in a smaller venue and it would be phenomenal, but I think to them, Iron Maiden is much...

Loudwire's top 50 metal songs of the 21st Century

I'm much in agreement Mr Spruce. It might even have been from seeing you talk about it on here that I first listened to it. I've tried the other albums, but they haven't grabbed me the same, though I haven't given them as much opportunity.

Sinnergod - It's a Wonderful Life (Featuring Blaze Bailey)

I really like this song. Is it just this one Blaze has sung on? Also, everytime I watch I can't help feeling that in this video Blaze looks like the bastard lovechild of Meatloaf and Matt LeBlanc.

    Concrete Sun

While I can see it on the surface, given any critical listening, I don't really see the AIC comparison.

    Concrete Sun

I don't really get the southern flag thing, I know it means a lot of different things to different people, but didn't really think it had any cultural relevance outside the US. Relevance for a Serbian band, fuck knows? Maybe they just want to look like Pantera. And they do look and sound like...

    Concrete Sun

I just thought I'd share with you all a band I came across this week. It's not the sort of thing I listen to, so I have no idea how original/derivative they are, but I like it. and another goodie: Their whole album is on bandcamp here: http://concretesun.bandcamp.com/

    RIP Bucko

Sad news indeed. I never knew him, but I'll miss his posts on here, he seemed a good guy.
