Metal foundry test, and question about cymbal swells

try playing with the envelope filter in s2.0, remove a little of the attack on the cymbal swell, that could make it a little bi more realistic

    isp decimator g-string

NS-2 is not a noise gate but a noise supressor, that's why its called NS, and there is some filtering going on. The rack version gives you control of the threshold of both channels independent of each other, and you got a filter control, but it also cost a lot more.

    isp decimator g-string

I own the Boss NS 2 and also the Decimator Pro Rack G, and I must say that the decimator kicks the NS 2 ass so hard that it is still flying.. Actually I think that the NS 2 is a big tone sucker, while the Decimator is very transparent and really doesn't affect your tone at all.

    Bands that tune to Bb?

or drop A like Korn, Fear Factory and Divine Heresy

POD XT PRO input level with active pickups

A higher samplerate doesn't give you more headroom, but a higher bit depth does. I have no problem with emg pickups into my Pod X3, but as Jevil said, just turn down channel vol. until it stops clipping, end then turn up master vol

    Electrical Gear - Voltage Differences!?!?

Thing is, it's not only the voltage that is different, also the frequency.. 60Hz for USA, 50Hz for Europe, I dont know Australia, but i guess you need to switch the powersupply inside the unit. So i don't think a simple voltage converter would work, you should also have a frequency converter.

    Samplerates. Is bigger better?

Your headroam has nothing to do with your sample rate, only way to get more headroom is to increase your bitrate

    EMG81 18V mod

No it doesn't clip, and my EMG's got 24V. How many threads do you need to start on the same subject?
  11. S

    Pots EMG81

That's right, and remember they will only work if installed in a metal guitar

    URGENT help emg81 too hot ? ? ?

Build a powersupply like i did, then you would never have to change batteries again. I run my EMG's at 24V

    String gauge

    12-60 for a drop B

HH bleed in a top snare track

Automate the gate to different settings for the different tempo of the song, else do what Machinated suggest
