Interesting, yea I duno what it is you're hearing exactly. I definitely don't use waves though.

Had some time to do a version with the tweaks you wanted. Re-distributed the bass energy, so to change the voicing to make it sound tighter. IMO I don't think it was a loudness thing. Also made the guitars ever so slightly stand out more to perceptually help shift bass energy. Also got the lead...

I think the mix and tones, not only being unique overall, also fit nicely for the vibe and genre. I like it! Also I noticed the macro dynamics between the verses and chorus, well done.
