For you metalheads who dig classical music as well!

Listened to almost all your compositions, but this one - I really adore. Nowadays when I hear about "classical music" it turns out to be some Chopin copying or Zimmer-style stuff=) Renaissance/baroque forms are so rare, but so much fun to listen when it's a work of present-time composers...

    Deathcore song from my band.

I'm interested in having this track produced and mixed well, because I like the idea. I'd start with drums, because it's a complex instrument. Don't ever use completely processed drum samples (toontrack/ssd) for your "groundwork", maybe when it comes to layering these libraries can be pretty...

May be it would be better for them. But what I mean is - if you ask for advice or critique - you should not in any way feel yourself offended. If you you're not satisfied with the results - take a notice. If you are satisfied - so why even ask.

"emmure style" thread comment is now called "usually"?:) You know, sometimes it's pointless to tell what to improve and how to do this, simply because it means changing absolutely everything. Just so you understand me a little bit better: Why people use SSD just by itself? Because they want to...

If you have free time (a lot of free time actually) which you want to spend on learning new things - learn drum sound design with BFD or Addictive Drums, layering, and mixing complex drum sounds with other instruments. Otherwise - hire a sound designer to work on your drum sound or teach you how...

I guess you didn't understand what I mean, because I don't believe that somebody will be satisfied with drums sounding like this in his own records. Not compositionwise. Soundwise. Compositionwise this music is great. This is what I really like in metal music.

Why everybody at this forum treats drums like it ain't even a musical instrument?:)

    Guitar Instrumental Mix-DI's included.

Maybe you record a quad track? First time in my life I feel like quad-track is really worth it;) btw, you're hell of creative with these riffs. One of the best guitar riffs ever. It's fucking jawesome. Inb4 seeing you in Revolver magazine :D

My first rough metal mix...rip me a new one!

More crash/china accents will make a lot of sense. China sounds like it's being played far away in a toilet from neighborhood. Kick clearly lacks body. Hihat is a little bit quieter than it should be. Bass can be thicker. That's what came to mind first. You have to choose one instrument (best...
