that cover rules, what are you talking about? The SFU covers are pretty bad. those are probably the worst i've heard. I downloaded the mp3 of rock and roll aint noise pollution and about died laughing at the patheticness of the whole thing. then i sobered up and realized it was just sad.

I thought the production on Enemies kinda fit the songs. The songs were fast, pissed, and angry for the most part, much aggressive then DHIDW and the rawer production kinda goes along with that. I can live with it. I agree it'd be cool to hear a little clearer, but i dont think it detracts from...

I saw this guy play with Vile and he's really good. He'll be able to pull off the Dimmu stuff no problem.

I usually don't lower the volume of anything for vocals and leads. I usually just mix it all so that the vocals etc sit nicely on top. I think that's how most people do it as well.

Evoken and fall of empyrean are great bands. Morgion rocks as well. Avernus are good, though they've been pretty quiet as of late. if you can find their stuff, it's worth it.
