Why i feel the need to defend this band, i don't know... so i won't. I'll just say this. People = shit. I like slipknot. they go with the "less is more" theme. :)

the only soulfly song i really like is "bleed" and "head up" with the deftones. soulfly is one of the most overrated bands ever.

no no.. thats industrial metal. this is sort of electro body music, but much more metalcore laden.

its a bit odd. there are so many offshoots of this same idea, metal with electronic sounds that its quite hard to move my way through it all. im not looking for bands like nin,skinny puppy, kmfdm, frontline assembly... but thats all im finding.

too bad. its a great album if look at it in a musical sense.. considering, well.. it is music. I dont support opeth's beliefs and fierce hatred towards christianity, yet i could never deny that they make great music.

"ashes of the wake" was a great buy. their drummer kicks major ass and reminds me of vinnie paul. vocalist def rocks. he has very unique scream. guitar is fun to attempt to play on my pz of shit strat. the opening riff on "laid to rest" is very stylish....
