I like the song, just don't think the "outro" was necessary. It drags a bit. Then "Defend/Avenge" also has a feedback intro. So it's a long time in the middle section, without a proper song or riff. Does that make sense?

Just gave the album a few more spins. Sounds much better after several listens. Better and more cohesive than Worship Music, by far. And their best since SOWN. Can't say if it's better than SOWN already, but it's at least as good. Anyway, the album is what it is, and obviously it can't be...

You are right. "You Gotta Believe" is indeed a thrashy song. Not a full on thrash song, but thrashy. As is "Evil Twin". And i like those songs. I really do. The musicianship is on the same level as the songwriting. The clean bridge on "YGB" creates an interesting build up and gives the song...

Listened to the album 3 or 4 times in a row. Here's my two cents: It's so mediocre, it hurts. "Breathing Lightning" is almost embarrassing. The chorus on that song would make Mötley Crüe and Nickelback proud. SO cheesy. Maybe i've outgrown the band. But i still LOVE everything they did until...

First of all, i am not a big Metallica fan. They became a joke. And i'm not talking about the more accessible albums. That's what they wanted do, it's their decision. I'm talking about bad live shows, awful albums (st. anger, DM) pathetic movies exposing the bands conflicts, the collaboration...

Neil Turbin sounded great in the early demos. A lot like Paul Di'Anno. On Fistful of Metal he sounded worse to me. It was a bit all over the place, bad dynamics, and not in tune. Great album, though. And Scott is being an idiot again, not giving credit to the band's previous members.

I agree with the first sentence. Ac/Dc is a very hard band to cover. They have a very unique sound, and it's hard to cover them in a creative way. So, most bands just play it identically. Also, it's overplayed. They didn't need to cover this, or at least, they should have chosen a more obscure...

But, who gives a crap about what other people think? That amazes me! Why can't people listen to the album and decide if they like it or not by their own taste? And the comment that says that this sounds like audioslave and soundgarden, its a joke. Its gotta be. I don't know either of those...

It's perfect, i'm really excited about the album. I don't like Crawl, but i get that it balances the album after all that fury, so it's all good!
