    Nevermore's Obsidian Conspiracy

Agree, couple standout tracks, the rest don't quite do it. I liked Warrell's solo record as much, haven't heard Jeff's.

Sonata Arctica - Ecliptica vs.Days of Grace

Thanks for the bio, now how about a review? I have no doubt that Days of Grace isn't as good as Ecliptica. I think the followup Silence was also a very good recording, in some ways better then Ecliptica. I haven't followed the band's new recordings due to poor reviews, saw them live about 4...

    Nevermore's Obsidian Conspiracy

Hmm, the music is awesome, the vocals in this youtube version is weak and not mixed right, it keeps knocking up against Dane's vocals, unless this guy recorded 2 vocal tracks. Whatever the case, it doesn't touch Smith's version.

    M3 FESTIVAL

Great show, L.A.Guns and Kix were my 2 favorite performances, Cinderella right behind them. Scorpions were a disappointment, late start and problems throughout. Warrant I missed seeing, but sounded great what I could hear on the lawn. Sucks I missed M3 2009, 2011 should be killer too, I think...

    Nevermore's Obsidian Conspiracy

I have every Nevermore release except the new one which I'll get soon. This song with Matt Smith is the 1st I've heard from the new album. Musically it definitely sounds like Nevermore and maybe a bit like Into Eternity, doesn't sound rehashed or like they are trying to be too heavy. So...

    Ozzy Osbounre - Scream

Hmm, based on your review the new Ozzy CD is pretty weak. Your review seemed to talk more about the history of Ozzy and Zak then anything related to the new release. A bit vague, but your final verdict states it's nothing to get excited about...which is typical for most old bands.

    Seriously bizarre movies

How about Ichi The Killer? That is a crazy gore S&M flick, pretty sick shit, story is okay. http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1807858791/info

    Cythraul's Authoritative Opinions on Metal

I guess that's why Cynic was hired to do the Human album. I like Cynic, but never loved them, probably do to the vocals. Atheist, I liked the Elements CD the best then they broke up, like Cynic they had a short lifespan so I don't even really think of them in the grand scheme of things...

    Cythraul's Authoritative Opinions on Metal

Nice, I am a big Morbid Angel fan, though IMO not all of their releases are great. Blessed are the Sick, Formulas Fatal to the Flesh and Heretic aren't as good as there other CD's IMO. Plus Death already had 2 albums out by the time Alters of Madness hit. Who else can make the cut in this...

    Cythraul's Authoritative Opinions on Metal

What better bands? Who is better then Death? I don't know of any death metal bands that were better then Death, some maybe were faster, some more raw, some heavier, some darker, but none better. Death did it all from the raw early sounds to the polished final record in 1998.

    Fantasy/Sci-Fi Movies That Don't Suck

Me too, except I thought Ghostrider was some crap in line with Elektra, Tank Girl, Catwoman, Street Fighter: Chun Li.

I guess they value their lives and want to keep making the show instead of dying at the hands of some muslim dipshit.
