I think he does a very good job on Beware, but I also think Rick is SP's TRUE frontman. That dude is a hard act to follow.

Geez, I buy no fewer than 100 CDs each year. Maybe I have a problem. But there are always SO many new albums from bands I dig. And yes, my CD collection is getting to be quite extensive. But computer files, for me, just don't cut it.

At first, I was thrown with Beware's sound, but after becoming familiar with the tunes, I began to accept the less-pristine production values. It was obvious the budget was less than what it had been when SP was on Nuclear Blast. And to that point, why was Steel Prophet dropped from NB, anyway...
