I use DRT to convert from audio to MIDI. Then i'll check every MIDI note to match the audio and remove some false notes, and then i use Trigger with the sample i want.

I have a pair of SM81, C214 and Oktavas, sometimes use the SM81 as OH and Oktavas as spot and C214 as room mics, sometimes the other way around, i think it's a good option to have different ones available for different tastes, they all work great :)
