    While Heaven Wept

Actually, let me clarify that: "Lamentations" and "Halcyon" feature Simon Matravers. I replaced him between 1995-1997 until circumstances lead to me refocusing on WHW exclusively, and Moz Ingram came in for "New Dark Age". There were several other singers prior on the early demos, Solstice is...

While Heaven Wept and other new metal in stock

Just so I'm clear on the drum issue, are you referring to the sonic character of the drums or the actual feel of the performances? We implemented several new (for us) techniques when recording the drums including throwing mics on the top and bottom of the toms for example, and a variety of...

WHW Fear of Infinity - tracks listed in the wrong order?

For the sake of clarity the EU pressing is printed correctly and comes in a slipcase.

WHW Fear of Infinity - tracks listed in the wrong order?

The US pressing was printed incorrectly and I've already notified Nuclear Blast of this. Future pressings will feature the correct tracklists. The audio however is correct (with "Unplenitude" before "To Grieve Forever")...guess this first run of the album can be considered a "collectors item"

While Heaven Wept and other new metal in stock

Look folks...the fact is there will never be "Vast Oceans Lachrymose V.2" or "Of Empires Forlorn revisited"...whatever we feel at the time of an album's recording is going to yield whatever it is ultimately. There's never ANYTHING "forced"...it's raw emotion...and it's extremely personal...in...

While Heaven Wept and other new metal in stock

Actually the drums are 100% real...any samples used were of the actual kit. And productionwise it is NOTHING like anything else coming out today. We made a point of only following the paths we ourselves laid previously. Put on any other Nuclear Blast release and A/B them to this. And of...

PP XII Lineup - Your Breakdown

Just some thoughts here being that I DO know all of the "WTF?" bands included on PPXII VERY well. Arcturus originated within the Black Metal scene...something of a supergroup...but quickly evolved into something unlike anything else on the planet...and yes...I mean of the "Into The Pandemonium"...

While Heaven Wept sign with Nuclear Blast

Thanks guys...this deal has been in the works since February roughly, and we actually signed a couple months back...wasn't until today that we could announce it! There was a portion of the press release omitted, and I'd like to include it here: While Heaven Wept's former label Cruz Del...

Better Know a Band: While Heaven Wept

I've uploaded a couple more videos to YouTube from the DVD, and wanted to let everyone here know! Apologies for the "glitch" from 4:24-4:32; this clip was assembled from two separate files & this was the best I could do. This does not reflect the content of the final DVD, which is...

Better Know a Band: While Heaven Wept

Just a brief update...."Triumph:Tragedy:Transcendence" CD/DVD set will now be released on November 20th in the EU and December 7th in the US; Sony DADC Austria has strict standards for their DVD replication, and we had to adjust some technical problems....but the pressing is moving forward now...

Better Know a Band: While Heaven Wept

Well I certainly appreciate the sentiment, and we will bring some very cool items to the fest, the fact is, cash really has never been a priority...otherwise we'd probably be playing music that is more profitable...we've existed through countless trends doing our thing, and that's not going to...
