Now i am not a pro, but it seems bass is a little loud, and guitars should come up a bit. it also seems the entire mix could come up a bit. The vocals seem like you nailed it there. with that style of music. love the bass drum sound. i think project all in all is good

i just got a maxon od-9, and slapped this together real quick. this is just 2 guitar tracks and i programmed some drums. Signal chain is maxon, to firestudio, and then an amp sim. i have a j48 coming Monday, but i was hoping this is a good start. http://soundcloud.com/tomrip/maxon-test-tone-001

The StabbinCabin, what mics do you recommend? Do i need to get like senn 421s for toms, or are there good mics that are cheaper. i have the audix 8 kit now, but i am assume i need better. I appreciate your guys recommendations
