Kemper has landed. Got to play around with it for a while and so far sounds good. Nothing mindblowing but more than solid and sound. I'll try and some recording this weekend and see how it goes.

I don't do audio projects much, but I would probably use JIRA for tracking time etc nowadays. Works very well in professional software development for a very similar thing :)

I have used LeCab quite a lot, and there is one thing about it: Quite often when I have 4 tracks of guitars, LeCab will randomly mute one or more tracks completely from both monitoring and rendering. You can "bypass" that by reloading the track FX via a preset, but it's a big annoyance, and you...

Another, more traditional FF song: Sub drops have been around at least since the 1980's hip hop. But for FF - yeah, Shock was the first if you don't count the remix album Remanufacture, which I think had one song with a sub drop (forgot which though...).

Just a quick comment about SSD lifetime. I've had my 80GB Intel X25-M G2 since May 2010, and it's still going strong.
