My suggestion would be to try out the demo and see if it works for you. I tried the demo myself and liked the Vintage Verb so much that I bought it. So try before buy and then you will see if you like it or not.

Like PD-Baraka said it's a very personal choice with monitors. For example I liked the Yamaha HS monitors and my friend preferred the JBL LSR's. The best thing is to have different monitors at your place and compare them. Because the room and position is a big factor too. Acoustic treatment...
