Releases you are looking forward to in 2014

Looking forward to new material by Tool (hopefully at least), Alcest, Entombed, Agalloch and probably more I can’t think of now. I remember thinking that the new Alcest album cover didn’t look very 'metal like' for lack of a better way of putting it.. Has anyone heard the new single yet??

What are your favourite metal demos?

Metal you can listen to daily and not get bored

Is it a problem that I’ve posted in 6 or 7 listing threads?? A lot of the topics that are active right now are threads where most people list things. Anyways, I wanted to add Drudkh’s “Autumn Aurora” to my list, Drudkh’s peak IMO and though I generally prefer Hate Forest, I’d say this is...

Favorite Metal Albums From Major Genres

Yeah, FTVOB is very bm oriented but I really wanted to give it a mention since it’s such a superb album and I’ve always seen the first bits of the “epic pagan metal” or “viking metal” or whatever you want to call the later Graveland style first coming through...

    any fans of monster magnet?

They’re kind of a hit or miss band at times but I love the earlier stoner rock material such as “Spine of God” and “Superjudge”. “Dopes to Infinity” is decent too although there are a few songs on it that stand well above the others. I find that...
