Hey all! I kinda wanna cry a little over this one. my band has put so much work into this. 2 long years. we've had equipment break, members leave and all manner of crazy things happen in these 2 years but it's here! the Carthage EP is finally Released...

everything sounds huge clear and present! love it!

oh my lord this is amazing. i want to get to this level. the vocals feel a tad dry or possibly too forward, but that's just on my laptop speakers with my headphones as a reference. overall this is amazing.

you could be right. i was doing grouping a little differently and it could be sitting a smidge too far out front, but i like to have my kick sitting out front a bit. this is just a little more than i normally like though,

not at the moment because exporting is taking a while, but I'll get you all the synths and the midiprobably tomorrow or monday and then put it up in the OP. this is a little mix from album 3, trying to cram even more musical styles than i did with the second (which will be out in january...

most of us know about dropbox bro, you don't have to explain it ;) but would you want us to just export a drum track or would you like us to mix a track for you? I can go and run it through my filter shortly :)

yeah, it was like a really quick 10-minute mix. might go and re-work it. :) and yes, the guitars are a little thin. was trying to make everything fit in, frequencywise. i have time now, so i'll try and go perfect it.

listening on my monitors, the guitars are WAYYYYYYY up front, and the vocals are drowned. maybe compress em a teeny bit and add some delay and/or reverb. also, the kick feels a little soft. might wanna bring a little click into it.i really like the snare, however, sounds great, and the cymbals...

i hear a bit of what sounds like tape noise. it's interesting, and yeah, bring in the guitars a little so that they fit with the drums and the "picture" of the music, and then maybe use a stereo expander on the master to get "wideness" out of it. see if that doesnt help.
