kit sounds bit over compressed includin cymbals. they need to come down bit. the kick sounds lil boomy. just my opinion though. vocals sit nicely and guitar tones pretty standard for this sorta stuff. catchy song (y)

Yeh unfortunately im reduced to the ex metal pack from slate drums. they're ok but I agree with what you said about mixing itself. Hence why slate cymbals sound shite. There's no mastering on it atm so that's why it's quiet but I'll bump the faders up a bit. how would you suggest sorting the...

cheers man. yeh WTR and August burns red are big influences. Guitars are jus Podfarm (Cali Diamond Plate / Tube Screamer) I use a Washburn x50 ProE. Drums are just standard Slate drums which is why the cymbals arent great. Ive still not got around to gettin waves plugins so its jus logic...
