THEOCRACY, BloodWork Fest [02/02/2013] in Costa Rica!

Laying the Demon to Rest is absolutely brutal live. They about half of those songs when I saw them in Atlanta last year. Thanks for sharing the pictures!

    Best Metal Christmas CDs...Songs?

I really like Gary Hoey's Ho Ho Hoey Christmas Collection. Not all of it is metal, but all songs are solid nonetheless. I have Theocracy's Christmas songs of course, as well as We Wish You a Metal Christmas, some TSO, and gotta throw in A Twisted Christmas just for good measure :-)

What video games are you currently playing?

I just recently picked up an Xbox 360 with Forza 4 Essentials and Skyrim. I also picked up Halo 3 ODST as I have not played it yet and wanted to do so before getting Halo 4. I think I have more than enough to keep me busy enough for now, especially with Skyrim.

I have been on a Wayne Johnson kick...just recently bought Under Command's Back in the Thick and Wayne Johnson's debut solo album North of Nowhere. This guy can write some hooks/riffs. He has been one of my favorite guitarists for a few years, especially when he wields his 7 string :-)

    Val's playing speed

Can't help but think of the St. Anger parody after reading this "These songs are long, and there are fast parts, so that automatically means that they are good....doooubllle bassssss" lol I totally agree though that speed is not everything.

    New ArtEfekt track!

I honestly did not like dubstep until I heard your stuff. You have some great songs! Everyone told me I needed to listen to Skrillex and I tried, but could not get into it. I love the death step stuff though. I am a sucker for electronic/metal fused music.

THEOCRACY: "HIDE IN THE FAIRYTALE" VIDEO RELEASED

I thought the video was excellent. I figured that the syncing was a youtube thing. For a band that is not extremely well known, doesn't get any radio time that I am aware of, pumps out a free video for us to enjoy in such a short period of time, I must say I am impressed. I have been part of...

Theocracy Music Video (Hide In The Fairytale)

Creating a music video for a Theocracy song is like creating a movie based on a book. It may turn out to be an awesome video, but it will never do the original media justice.

    Acoustic/Piano/Soft Whatever music

I personally like Shane and Shane for softer acoustic stuff.

Theocracy Music Video (Hide In The Fairytale)

I would love to see MoS as a video, It would practically be a mini movie. For some reason I think it would make a great animated music video, but that's just me.

THEOCRACY: DEBUT ALBUM TO BE RE-RELEASED

I am definitely looking forward to hearing the re release. Shawn is a beast on drums (realized that even more so after seeing/hearing them live). Speaking of autotune, I think Matt should have his cat do some autotune stuff for this release :-)

    Pathfinder Metalfest July 7th 2012

Thank you! Haha, for some reason, I could not remember the extra song for the life of me even though I got to see the song list on stage before you guys started. Shawn, It was great meeting you along with the rest the guys.

    Pathfinder Metalfest July 7th 2012

Let's see if I can remember: I believe it was Nailed, Master Storyteller, Martyr, Laying the Demon to Rest, Gift of Music, 30 Pieces of Silver and ended with As the World Bleeds. Why do I feel like I forgot a song?

    Pathfinder Metalfest July 7th 2012

Prometheus, looks like your wife was back and to the left of me. I was to the right of the stage right in front of Jon's mic. I am sure Matt was a little frustrated with the mic, but I think it was the third try they got it to work. The crowd was singing loud enough that the lyrics were heard...
