This is exactly my opinion. This is exactly why I do not like any live albums I have heard so far and why I didn't bother to download any of the Opeth bootlegs.

Production was really all that killed Eternal Soul Torture (and Into the Frost of Winter as well). Musically, the songs were pretty much the same as other Opeth songs, especially when it is considered that most of the music from those songs was spliced into other songs.

I've only got California, and it has yet to get old on me. The things that they do within a single song are astounding, (Goodbye Sober Day, for example). Also, you should check out Fantomas if you like the noises he makes. Tomahawk are also good.
