    What nu-metal do you like?

Dust To Dust is one of the few I like. Although I can listen to other bands, I would probably bever buy their CDs. Although some might actually be good. I just like finding and buying different CDs, many of bands I've never heard of from the 80s, more.

    Best Testament Album

The Legacy and The New Order. The only weak link is probably The Ritual, but even that CD has a few very good songs, and the more I listen to it, the more it grows on me. The only reason Testament CDs sit on the shelf is because I have so many CDs to choose from.

    Dark Angel or Death Angel?

Dark Angel play far more complex thrash, which is what I really like about them. Death Angel are good though, and they have some comedic, but still awesome songs suchs as 'Bored'. Both really good bands back in their day, but the nod goes to Dark Angel in my book.

    New RAGE album in September

I only have the essential "Execution Guaranteed" and the last disc "Unity" from Rage. But I like them both and it's good to see strong bands continue.

    Favorite nighttime metal?

Any song with a night, or highway theme to it. Especially if driving at night. Examples. Saxon - Midnight Rider - Ride Like The Wind Drive - I Need The Nights (Queensryche-esque band, I guess) Dio - Night Music - I Speed At Night Queensryche - Nightrider

Seven Witches - Passage To The Other Side

I somewhat think this album is a step back for James Rivera. It's a solid release, but the way I see it what he was doing in Destiny's End was for more creative in the lyric, and style department. You mention in your review, Seven Witches isn't very creative or original. Well, Destiny's End was...

    Anyone here like KREATOR?

I like the Kreator material in myu collection. But I only have up to and including 'Cause For Conflict', after which I kind of gave up buying other CDs from the band. Endless Pain (1989 Noise) - German Thrash MetalPleasure To Kill (1986/2000 Noise)Terrible Certainty (1987 Noise)Out Of The...

    From Beyond - Thrashin' Machine

From Beyond, Thrashin' Machine, bang it up hard and fast with thrash played the way it once was in the past with this 5 song, 20 minute and 11 second EP. With Tom Angelripper styled vocals and a guitarist who resembles Schmier of Destruction, Thrashin' Machine is bound to wreck some necks. The...

    Devin Townsend-Accelerated Evolution

I've been listening to this CD trying to figure out what I think as a whole. "Accelerated Evolution" is actually heavier than I expected, but that doesn't mean it's bad. A solid release overall but I need some time to really listen to the whole thing, with the lyrics and soak the music in...

News on new DESTRUCTION album - METAL DISCHARGE!

Their live CD "Live Without Sense" is a classic. Their live material on the "Nuclear Blast Festivals" CD is great also. But a new live disc would be a worthy addition for new Destruction fans. I think the Nuclear Blast deal has been good to bring back this classic German Speed/Thrash band!

    Katagory V confrim CMF!

I just found about your band from the CMF page. A metal band from Utah, the state I live in? There are not many metal bands from here, so more power to you. I hope it goes well. Do you play many shows in the state?

http://www.sentinelsteel.com - a good place for Power Metal. Most of the CDs run around $12 also.

Does your location influence your musical taste?

The states and I mostly like 80s hard rock/heavy metal and thrash (Bay Area, German, just thrash) but I also really like trad/power metal bands, and some death/black. Mostly anything minus the newer so-called metal bands.
