The only suggestion I can give is make your name sound different from other band's. Frankly, words like 'Lost', 'Silence' etc have been done to death. Don't use them. Try searching through literature, or other band's lyrics to find a good name. I'm sure you'll find one.

Dissolving Bonds, without doubt. Every note in that song is bliss. Unfurl probably comes in second, it has a good mood. As for Displaced and Code Against the Code, they don't do much for me.

Been watching so many horror films lately, and my favourite must be Wishmaster. A little violent at times, but, well, the djinn is cool. Oh, another must see is Event Horizon. Boy, did it make me feel uneasy that night.

Time is right for me to stick my head out of the crowd and say that I like Catatonia, because I do. I've got International Velvet, and I think Mulder and Scully is a pretty decent song, as well as several others on the album. I really ought to get round to buying Equally Cursed And Blessed...

Hmm, I'd have to say -Cocteau Twins -Slowdive -Autumn's Grey Solace -Soulwhirlingsomewhere -Katatonia -Joy Division -Lycia -Isis -Funeral (just their debut, 'Tragedies') -Love Spirals Downwards Taa-daah...!

The Loveless, (if you haven't listened to them, do it now!), Blazing Eternity, Rapture, Rainshadow (very good also, got their debut album coming out soon), Rapture, Fragile Hollow. Think that may be it. This are all bands that I think share Katatonia's guitar style, and, more often than not, mood.

Heard the songs on their myspace, and ordered the album tonight. =D I've had the title track in my head all day...

Oh man, lately I've really been crapping myself over Porcupine Tree - Fear of A Blank Planet. Aside from seeing the band on the 22nd, April's gonna be a great month because of the album. Other albums, Manic Street Preachers - Send Away the Tigers (boy, it's gonna be great!!! =D )...

Thanks for bringing this band to my attention =) I downloaded 'Tomorrow's In Doubt', and I'm really enjoying it. I'm strongly considering buying all 3 from the website. When I have the money, that is ;)

I do, though only from being told the chances of extra-terrestial life are huge. I enjoy believing in other lifeforms; lying awake in bed thinking over what intelligent lifeforms could be existing right now..it just thrills me to be honest.
