When you are double tracking guitars, panned L and R, and you come to a harmony part, would you suggest panning those two guitars "center" to let them blend better? Or would you just leave them panned?

Sure. A nice 1176 would be a nice piece to have. I like the Lexicon verbs, pretty awesome. How is Focusrite when it comes down to pre's and comps? Basically, I just want to have a small rack of gear, if possible, small enough to be able to transport it around.

Sounds cool man...what amp(s) did you use? What was your method to get the punch and articulation for guitars? Were they double tracked?

Check this out...my band New Hell Rising. I recorded the guitars in my room, and the rest of the band recorded in Helsinki. It was mastered at West West Side in NY. Let me know what you think, if we're off to a good start...just our demo track...

Thanks. The guitars were tracked in one place in NY, and the rest of the material was recorded overseas in Helsinki. So we weren't in the studio together...i'm interested, where do you hear the timing oddities? We're writing our next song and want to make sure we don't have any issues.
