hey guys i jus got the mick thompson siganture emty's and i was going to install it into my esp f-250. prior my pickups are esp-emg lh 300 passives. would it work if i installed the active mick thompson in the bridge but keep the passive emg lh 300 in the neck? would there be any problems?

my drum pads seem to be more velocity sensitive on the outer edge of the pad then the center? any suggestions? i mean i hit it full pelt in the center of the pad and it triggeres as if i was hitting it moderately hard?
