Cryptopsy bore me, I saw them live in August and 3 songs in I was literally yawning - After BMF I haven't liked anything they've done except the live album, Martin Lacroix's vocals are twice what Lord Worm's are.

Akira started it all for me and I love that movie still...the most profound series i've ever seen was Neon Genesis Evangelion. Everything Studio Ghibli did is fantastic.

I love "proper" goth...not what the idiot kids these days call goth. Fields of the Nephilim, The Cure...Christian Death, Skinny Puppy. Actually I like everything from Alien Sex Fiend to X-Mal Deutschland. Depeche Mode are great.

Huge AIC fan here, though i'm not familiar with Cantrell's solo stuff, i've heard good things though!

I love their first two albums, though haven't been able to find much other than a few tracks from Elemental...didn't even know there was a new album (!)
