A buddy of mine just picked up a used GRX70 for $99. Whats your view on the guitar? Is is worth slapping a Duncan Invader in? Any advise on other guitars no more than $300? Keep in mind the style is thrash/death/melodic metal. Thanks. _chris_

It takes a while to learn the circle of fifths, then it takes some time to be able to apply it appropriatly. For harmonys though, I find that it helps to know all the positions for major/minor scales. Then I learned harmonic, then like one position from the rest. Although...I smoked alot of...

Im trying to use it as an effects right for now. Through my mesa boogie dual rectifier. I followed the directions for using the fx loop, and put it on series. The rest is confusing. Oddly, when I hit the fx button for my mesa all it does is makes my amp quieter. :hypno: Sorta need alot of lame...
