I have the MAYH colured vinyl - I think it sounds awesome, didnt notice it being lower quality than my other vinyls - obviously if you dont have the recent Blackwater Park reissue that should be your priority :p

I met them after the Glasgow gig in November, just waited an hour after the gig outside the tour bus, talked to them all and got my BWP + Watershed booklets, and Watershed vinyl poster signed. Well worth the wait to meet the best band in the world :P

Part of the reason Opeth are so unique is because Mike's song writing is not influenced by the current metal trends/climate :notworthy

My girlfreind loves Opeth - she has seen them live more than I have. I met her because I spoke to one of her freinds who was wearing a Blackwater Park T-shirt :kickass:

Just read about these guys in Terrorizer - sounded damn good - described as a mix of old school black Metal with twists of Enslaved and new Satyricon. On the bands myspace page they have like 5 tracks from the new record...

I assume true indie - is very different to the mainstream shite under the same name dominating my country's charts.... I hate it, for me its is the scurge of music, guys coming together writing really basic "power chorded" songs.. with vocals that are basically speaking in their english accents...

You have to see for yourself how awesome that song is live - the heavyness is awesome.... - infact overall the current setlist is one of the heaviest Opeth have ever done with The Lotus Eater, Deliverance, TGC, Heir Apparent... along with the heavy goodness of Bleak and the Drappery Falls :kickass:
