I have to agree with whoever posted the "gateway" band comment as well. They're not really heavy enough to destroy your ears, but not soft enough to fall into the heavier rock genres. And, as far as the album is concerned, I didn't like it. It was wayyyy too repetitive. It is NOTHING compared...

As it is with anything that is created by Borknagar, I loved this album. The sheer magnitude of it gave me chills. For those who have not bought it...go buy it now!

I liked the album somewhat, but I agree that it fails in comparison to some of their previous albums and that the cover was just...idiotic..yes..that's the best word. But, overall, the vocals were ok, and the guitar work was as awesome as ever. I give it 6/10, mainly because it was repetitive.
