I would try to bring out the midrange of the drums a little more they are real bright (too much bright hat and overheads) it also takes quite a while to get going imo

sounds good, man I love my Peavey combo. Well it's a vypyr 30, but not that far off, and I have had zero probs. with it like others with a little tweak to the mix, like bass up and bigger drums it would sit just fine

for the tone on your myspace song, I would move the mic off the center cap of the speaker, just move it and listen through some headphones. It is really bright. and I agree with what they told you already, a huge bass and drum sound will carry the mix better than seriously overblown guitar...

tascam us-122l I have a tascam us-144 and it's pretty good. the 122 is the same but it doesn't have spidf, which I never use anyway it has two mic inputs 1 phantom power and instrument input. The latency could be better, but I can still play live guitar vsts, so I am happy

hmm I would just try for an impulse that suits it better. Will be much more natural then carving with an eq I like it with Aradaz Our Cabinet. Set with a 6505 and soldano impulse. In fact that is what I use for all amp sims. These are pretty bright, but in a good way IMO

I would just double track a unison bend, with one side being even fingerpicked and one with a regular pick. Experiment with the performance to get the kinda psychedelic sound you want. I do this kinda thing a lot and you can get real spaced out sounds just by thinking like a delay. Real...
