Out of any album I've ever listened to this one took the longest to grow on me, but boy does it grow a lot! I feel like this album furthers what they were trying to do on Paradise Lost, but this album succeeds where PL failed...

One or two songs have a couple lines that still bug me but all in all a lot of those cheesy lyrics are starting to sound a lot better... After about 8 or maybe 9 listens to the songs (some less than others) I can safely say that it is a pretty solid release... I enjoy it 90% throughout... Much...

Anyone can write something better than (Can't you see what they're doing to you and me) (Don't look away, oh hear what I say) (STRIKE WITH POWER) I can go on and on and on..... No need to write any lyrics here.. In fact the sentence I just wrote before this one would work better as lyrics than...

I just don't like the fact that most of the lyrics I've written in the past AND HAVE THROWN IN THE TRASH because I thought they were bad are better than 99% of the lyrics in this album...

^^^ You people just seem to be completely oblivious to the writing on this album... You must not be native English speakers... In which case I ENVY YOU.... The Guitars, Drums, Vocals, Bass and Keys all great and executed flawlessly... The Vocal work is still amazing compared to most singers...

8 Listens now... The whole album is great... Russ spoiled it all with those lyrics though.... Probably be one of my favorite Symphony X albums now if it weren't for (STRIKE WITH POWER! KILL THEM ALL FROM SHORE TO SHORE!)... What a big FUCK YOU to the fans... You read my mind.
