i have a engl e530 preamp that has a built in power amp, i want to run a cab which has 1 mono input. i know it needs a stereo cable (trs) in the preamp, my question is for the cab, do i use one of the stereo cable ends which is mono to the cab and the other cable end leave unplugged? will...

dont sell it man its a great amp.....i would say take the amp(head) to your nearest guitar store or maybe go to NYC or jersey if nothing is around your area like you said and test it with different cabs and speakers, you will see a difference and what terminus said also^........if nothing works...

i would say iso cab for the real deal....ir's are cool with loadbox but cab and mic as you know wins

great amp if you put a ts9-7 or zakk overdrive pedal in front at least for me ..make sure you can mic it loud above 3 on the master volume to hear the magic.......sucks at low volumes.......and yes it blends well with other amps.....used it with a 5150 blend sounded cool ......even without...
