Death 1000 Eyes (Full Cover Strings + Vox)

Moin! I used to post here years ago and the board was a huge help for me when I initially started learning all this stuff. I recently recorded a cover of 1000 Eyes by Death including video. Guitars, bass, vox and all leads + solos. If there is serious interest I'm gonna render the multitracks...

Headphone amp for a project studio situation

Hey dudes, I haven't posted in ages but I think I need some shared wisdom/experience here. Really quick: Project studio drum rehearsal/recording situation. Everything goes in to a single interface being distributed to poweramps for PA (sometimes) and studio monitors as well as a simple wireless...

Daus (My BM Solo Project) Complete Single

Hey guys, I've finally gotten around finishing the vocals on my solo EP. Everything you see and hear was done by me. If you're into this sort of music you will hopefully get a worthwhile listen out of this. Greeting, Max https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5nbphKMZFU&feature=youtu.be

    Tightest live band?

Never seen them, but judging from legends of people who have seen them live + unedited bootlegs I'd say Dissection. I have no idea how it is humanly possible to play and scream songs like Nights Blood at the same time. Wtf, Notveid, haha.

OK which one of you guys wrote this troll post on CL?

Neumann = Noymann, with an "a" as in "are", probably the easiest way to explain. The German "a" ist basically the sound you make when you open your mouth completely, tongue in mouth, and let it flow. The word Neumann doesn't make any sense on it's own, that's why you're having trouble...

So Angela Gossow left Arch Enemy... Wow

I don't care the slightest, but I do think Gossow is hotter. Anyways, had to sig this. / Just noticed I've been playing my LTD Ninja (Michael Amott, Arch Enemy, signature guitar) for years on end and I'm quite known for playing that guitar (I own two of them, one as live backup), and I coudn't...

    Lombardo for $750 a show...

This is what happens when the old system of marketing a band is still applied these days. A band as well known and respected as Slayer should try to bail out of any big-ass music contracts and do their stuff on their own, making less money, but also not having to pay the huge crowd of people...

    Andy Sneap and Slayer?

This would be awesome. I loved what Hyde did with the sound (if it hast to be modern), but those Fidelman mixes where seriously disgusting, especially the Death Magnetic style drum sounds. I never understood why people where all on the fence about DM's production, while WPB's was nearly as bad...

Daus (BM project of mine ala Dissection Watain etc.)

I just finished a rough draft for the first song of my new project, Daus. It's basically Melodic Black Metal in the style of my favorite scandinavian bands like Dissection, Watain etc. It is as yet classified as an Instrumental, but I would really like to work out a suiting vocal perfomance if...

I need a new main amp for the studio

Kemper is cool, and I think the jack of all trades would be the 5150/6505. Rectifier is cool aswell, but I'd say it has a somewhat more characteristic sound to it.

Acceptable desktop system for home use, anyone?

Sounds teh awesome, didn't know Klipsch licensed speaker systems. They don't sell them in Germany, but that has never caused a problem as of yet, so thanks a lot guys!

Acceptable desktop system for home use, anyone?

As people with atleast one foot in the audio-world, I guess you all know that having access to a good studio system totally spoils the listening of music at home, given that you don't have a billion dollars to spend on another system. If hard pressed, I'll use a good pair of headphones (works...

    Black Dahlia kind of thing

Did this for fun yesterday, liked how the mix turned out, I'm really a fan of Suecof, damnit. Fun fact: The headstock of the guitars was once broken off at a party at our rehearsal space, but I glued it back on. Works like a charm. :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjTFMYNO6G4&feature=youtu.be

Recording teenager bands drums - Real or Electric?

Record real drums and edit them properly, will probably sound better, especially for lighter stuff. If they where like a Deathmetal band you could go all samples, but for rock that just sucks ass.

    Massive Snare

Haha, why even bother to record the drums at all? I mean, for that sound, you might aswell just hook every drum up with a trigger at practice and program the damn cymbals. This shit sucks.
