i would say try a few different ones. i like the steinberg one alot more than the blue tubes or waves ones. also if you hear phasing thats probably too much widening. 5% or 10% goes a long way. if you still dont have enough space i would say thats more an eq issue than widening

to robbie : i think eq will fix this. use a parametric with a q of about 0.2 or 0.3 and add around 2db at 1.5k as a starting point. then sweep the centre from 800 to around 3k odd and see where you like it. shazam. bawlz.

spend that money on steven slate drum samples. boom.

save up for a few months more and get an api 3124+.

one more for the psa1. out of all the choices above..youd be hard pressed to beat the psa 1..it has so much balls. doesnt sound too bad direct either.

theres the rme website support section, newsgroup..forum etc. theres also a tech info website. the manual pretty much covers it though. i just bought one and im still learning it..it looks like itll be a while before i figure it out completely though.

forrester savell did a good job on the karnivool album. i know he was gonna be working with sunk loto before they decided to call it a day.

problem fixed..it was the hub.i needed a 4 to 6 pin adapter cable. hopefully all goes to plan with the new comp :)

hello all, i have just bought a new fireface 800, mainly because its pretty widely regarded as the best interface in its class, and its got the awesome i/o. you guys helped alot with this decision :) i wanna try and install the drivers/totalmix and get things going..but whenever i power it on...

thats pretty much it :) i was wondering if theres any dos and donts are far as integrating my pc with the ff800 is concerned. also asus,gigabyte etc..is easily available through most dealers..just wondered if there were boards like tyan etc..that people had experience or advice about. also...
