As far as the choice of WORST BANDS is concerned, I think they're right.

BUT: :puke: :puke: at the thought of Korn. And :lol: :lol: at anyone who calls Korn's "guitarists" (and the Shite Stripes too) talented musicians!!!

Concerning Alexi being a "new talent": Okay, COB have released four studio albums and let's not forget Sinergy -but he's kinda new to the US scene.
 
the funniest thing to me is how st anger is one of the biggest disappointments, yet still the number 2 metal album :guh:

Let's say that almost everything on that list is rediculous. Great fun reading it though, and it certainly kicks ass that alexi is named in it too though only in 3th place??? that should be 1.
The rest is just absurt, i mean common, those "guitarists"from foo fighters/white stripes/korn only just discovered how you can play a chord and how to hit a string.

I'm not surprised. Guitar magazines have been doing this shit for years. The voters don't know what the fuck they're doing anyway. It's a fact, not an opinion, that John Petrucci is better than Munky and Head from Korn in every way, but they still beat him in the metal guitarist category. Those magazines suck ass. I've got an old stack of them at home that I've been using as toilet paper lately.
 
It's just one big basket full of shit. Guitar world is like this: the more albums you sell, the better guitar player you are. They should let people with some sense about guitarplaying make up that list and not the readers(if it was the readers that voted and otherwise guitarworld can go screw themselves).
New talent alexi on 3th place, he outplays all those idiots, but then, it's guitar world. Yeah, they suck and indeed are good for toilet paper.

yeah - some good with some bad is what that magazine is - keep in mind they cater to a variety of listeners though - not all guitar players are as learned or as aware as .. umm (blush) us
