1000 CDs at last.

I know a lot of you will laugh like hell regarding the subject but finally I passed over 1000 CDs in the collection.

Considering I have been collecting music since 1982, and that all my vinyls were converted into CD it shows I have a very narrow taste...and it's true

The vice has no price.

1000 CDs! Wow! I'm nowhere near that number. My own collection is about 350 CDs mostly in the metal/hard rock genre with a few other non-metal artists scattered here and there.
I still remember the first two CDs I ever bought (I bought them both at the same time) Black Sabbath's Tyr and Queensryche's Empire back in 1990. And yes, I still have them and they are in very good condition as I take good care of my CDs.

Yes, thats really a reason to envy you, at the age of 7 is was running around without knowing that there exists something more than that stuff which got play in the readio.
Since metal-addict in 1990 I collect
500 CDs
200 LPs and EPs
400 Tapes

Well I people in forums who claim over 5000. Basically I calulate I have space for another 1000 or more, considering it took me over 20 years to come this far, I believe I'm covered until maturity

That has been true a lot lately. Finally I got into many bands which albums are OOP

That's true too, I guess that if I were stinking rich I wouldn't care to buy a lot of albums, even if most of them are not my taste of interest.

I have no Idea how many cds I own... I'm to busy buying them and trying to listen to them all to keep track of numbers hahaha I had my first AC/DC tape at age 7 or so .... so that was part of the spark 20 years ago but I didnt get into massive Tape/cdbuying untill 1990 - 1991 in the last 15 years I have bought many albums and some of them more than once ... I would prolly go insane trying to count every one
