This amp is rare. I believe this was one of 10 that were made in the 60's. It's meant to be a PA amp, but it sounds lovely as a guitar amp.
All the caps have been replaced. It has been hardwired for 8 ohms, and has an IEC connector instead of the hardwired cable it came with.
Yes... it looks a bit poo, tolex is tatty, and it has writing on the side of it. Exactly as I received it to be honest. But it sounds absolutely cracking! Forget your Fenders.... this amp head shit tons of headroom. It's LOUD.... so basically, stoner/doom bands would farkin love it.
I have literally no idea how much it's worth. I've paid out over £200 on it over the past years, getting it electronically fit for use. So I'd like to see a good chunk of the money I've spent on it. I'm thinking £150. This quite literally is one of the earliest Carlsbro amps out there, from what I've been told. It's all hand wired inside.
Buyer needs to collect this, as it is heavy. Vintage amp. A right corker. I wouldn't sell it actually, but I need money for my holiday and I have too many amps!!
